Celebrate St. Patrick's Day Tomorrow With These Easy Recipes

Hey Reader,

St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow, and it's the perfect time to make something to celebrate the day. We're all Irish this time of year, no matter how much green flows in your veins.

I've already made two batches of Irish soda bread, and I'm planning to pick up more corned beef on Wednesday when it goes on sale. Pro tip: These recipes are just as good this weekend when the meat is cheaper as they are today.

Festive St. Patrick’s Day Favorites

Irish Soda Bread is simple to make. This is my gram's recipe that she's passed down and is a little different from what you might see in the store. There's no waiting around for yeast to rise, so you can mix, bake, and have your bread ready in a snap.

This Copycat Oreo Shamrock Shake tastes like the fast food version, but you can make it right at home for a fraction of the cost. Skip the drive-thru and impress your family.

Corned Beef is a classic St. Patrick’s Day dish, and I love to make it in the crock pot. The meat comes out tender and flavorful, and it pairs well with cabbage or potatoes, though I'll be honest that I usually leave out the cabbage since half my family won't eat it.

If you make "extra" corned beef (is that actually a thing?) and need to figure out what to do with your leftovers, I cannot recommend making your own Corned Beef Hash enough. It's so simple, and it's delicious for any meal of the day, topped with eggs or even made into Irish nachos.

May the luck of the Irish be with you tomorrow and every day. Enjoy the holiday, and save these to remember for later, too!

Happy Cooking,
Michelle
